The purpose of this class is to help each player STEP UP to a higher level of playing bridge.  It includes playing of the hand, defensive strategies, counting techniques and other processes to increase our knowledge of this game and our ability to play and compete.

Showing a two-suited hand with either both majors or the unbid major and a minor.

How do you show your partner that you have two 5-card suits and then be able to tell partner how strong or weak your hand is?

 July 15, 2010                 Unusual 2NT

Bidding a two-suited hand showing the two lowest unbid suits.

You can show your partner two specific 5-card suits and on a subsequent bid tell the strength of your hand.

Partner, I have a long suit and I want to interfere over the opponent' opening bid.

How to cause havoc for the opponents by taking up their space to find the right contract?

Don't let the opponents sell out for a major 2 bid with suit agreement - get in there and fight for your score!

We will be playing and discussing hands dealing with the subjects we have discussed in the last few weeks. With a little of this and a little of that do you recognize the right course of action to take?
