The Board of Directors of the Charlotte Bridge
Association met on Wednesday, July 9,
2008 at 4:15 at the
Minutes of the last meeting were approved.
Bill Sutton gave the treasurer’s report , which was approved.
The Dilworth Homeowner’s Association appreciated our $250 donation to their security fund.
We have had no applicants for the Thursday night proprietor position
.
Jim reported that a new printer has been bought, delivered and installed
Jerry Helms will order our Dealing Machine when he orders his .He will order the needed disc and will buy a warranty if he feels it necessary.
Craig reported that the June Sectional was a huge success, with a profit of $3574.59. The Board members praised Craig for the wonderful job he did.
Jean reported that a new sink was installed in the foyer bathroom today. Details are still being worked out for improvements for both interior bathrooms.
Details for the November Sectional are still being investigated.
Ross reported on the meeting she and Don Lassiter had with the District lll Advisory Council.
Celia Johnson’s compensation for doing our Website will be raised to six free plays a month.
The Board approved Jerry Helms request to have a bridge seminar at CBA on October 22-23. Regular games will be held on those days, with the seminar in the large room.
The Board decided to wait until the Dealing Machine is purchased to buy new boards for CBA
